About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB Mathematics Teacher to join an international school and deliver high-quality instruction within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and real-world application of mathematical concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IB MYP Mathematics, ensuring lessons are inquiry-based, engaging, and aligned with the IB philosophy.
• Develop and implement differentiated learning strategies to support students with diverse mathematical abilities.
• Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through conceptual and applied learning.
• Use a variety of assessment methods to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the IB MYP Mathematics curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary learning.
• Support students in preparing for IB assessments, projects, and investigations.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including IB training and workshops.
• Contribute to the school community through extracurricular activities, student mentoring, and curriculum development.

Candidate Requirements:

• Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, State License or equivalent international certification).
• Experience teaching IB MYP Mathematics (2 years minimum) or a strong understanding of the IB curriculum.
• Ability to incorporate technology, real-world applications, and inquiry-based learning into lessons.
• Passion for fostering a growth mindset and mathematical confidence in students.
• Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills.
