About the School: Our client is a vibrant international school located in the northern part of Brussels, near NATO headquarters and numerous multinational companies. Established in September 2022, the school has quickly grown into a diverse community with over 20 nationalities represented among approximately 200 students. Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced French & Spanish Teacher to teach both High School and Middle School levels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language acquisition, able to inspire students of varying proficiency levels, and committed to fostering a communicative and immersive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach High School French & Spanish (Grades 9-12), following an inquiry-based, student-centered approach.
• Teach Middle School French & Spanish (Grades 6-8), focusing on building foundational language skills through engaging and interactive lessons.
• Incorporate real-world applications of language learning, including cultural studies, literature, and practical communication.
• Design and assess language acquisition tasks, ensuring students develop proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Encourage active classroom participation through role-play, discussions, storytelling, and project-based learning.
• Foster an appreciation for Francophone and Hispanic cultures, integrating history, traditions, and contemporary issues into lessons.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to align curriculum and ensure a smooth transition between language levels.
• Support students in language certifications, such as DELF/DALF (French) and DELE (Spanish), if applicable.
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular language activities, including language clubs, international trips, and cultural events.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in French, Spanish, Linguistics, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years teaching French and Spanish at the Middle & High School levels in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and Spanish, with strong English communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with IB Diploma Programme (DP) Language B, but not required.
• Skills: Strong classroom management, differentiated instruction strategies, and the ability to engage students of different language proficiency levels.
