About the job Senior Manager of Facilities and Services
Recognised for being a market leader for providing exceptional healthcare services in Malaysia, this respected institution is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Facilities Management professional to lead an experienced team. Ensuring service excellence is achieved through strategic planning, expert response management, vendor supervision, financial control whilst minimising the impact of services outage.
With a background in engineering, this talented team leader will oversee the entire facilities function. Being responsible for everything from building maintenance, plant equipment, HVAC, fabrication, utilities and gasses supply, through to upgrade and new build & installation projects.
They will ensure that the Facilities Team is kept up to date with skills training and that the Facilities Management Systems are fit for purpose and utilised thus achieving the smooth, safe and sustainable operation of buildings and infrastructure within a life critical environment.
The desire and ability to provide a high level of service to the business through a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals is integral to success in this role. The continuous development and implementation of Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, keeping the facility abreast of ever-changing statutory requirements as well as the constant monitoring of equipment licenses, upgrades and Vendor/Contractor agreements will be the direct responsibility of this experienced member of the site management team.
The ideal individual will have a Degree in Engineering or other relevant field and will have served part of their career as an Engineer within a facility maintenance team. With an eye for detail, they will understand the importance of working in an environment which includes life critical systems and demonstrate a track record in leading a team within a triage environment.
Previous experience in project management within a similar large scale, complex, open to public facility is essential. A definite advantage would be CHFM Certification and previous experience in the implementation, audit and ongoing management of healthcare related accreditations such as: ISO, JCI, MSQH etc.
