With operations across the globe, this market leading technology driven organisation has an opportunity for a highly talented and visionary Talent Acquisition Leader to join the team based in Malaysia.
Known as a game changer in their specific industries, they are looking for a skilled innovator to lead the Talent Acquisition function into a new talent attraction dynamic. Utilising knowledge of traditional attraction strategies, you will lead the motivated team to achieve the companies goals in attraction and retention of high calibre individuals using outside of the box methods whilst still respecting the organisations strong brands and reputation.
As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of talent attraction strategies across geographical borders, ensuring they complement the cultures and diversities within each region. You will work closely with the executive team to understand the company's goals and objectives then develop a comprehensive talent acquisition plans to support the companys growth both now and for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of highly motivated Talent Acquisition professionals, inspiring them to develop, implement, achieve and enhance comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent to the organization utilising cutting edge methods including Social Media and AI.
- Work with the executive team to align the Talent Acquisition function with the required business goals, ensuring the TA team is fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to enable them to collaborate with Hiring Managers, understanding their hiring needs, managing their expectations and develop vacancy profiles that attract the best fit.
- Oversee the utilisation of applicable sourcing methods to attract the required pool of candidates for each role, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, graduate engagement, talent fairs and external talent sourcing partners as well as testing and validating new trends in talent attraction.
- Manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring effective usage and optimal return on investment.
- Align the talent acquisition systems and processes to ensure the accurate, timely and professional collection, processing and utilisation of information and data thus enabling the effective delivery of talent acquisition support to the wider organisation and ensuring that ALL Candidates receive an unparalleled quality experience.
- Select and ensure delivery standards with external talent sourcing partners, ensuring their services and abilities meet the levels required to achieve the organisations goals.
- Working closely with our internal technology resources, develop effective analysis of recruitment/talent acquisition metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of the talent acquisition processes and strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and retention to ensure the company remains ahead in attracting top talent.
- Play a key role in the development of business wide Human Resource strategies, giving educated input and advice on issues which include attraction, onboarding, retention, engagement, development, etc.
- Be the custodian of the companies employer brand, working closely with marketing and communications to achieve and maintain a strong employer brand enabling the attraction of top talent and promote the company as an employer of choice.
What we are looking for:
- A dynamic, inspirational team leader.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an in-house talent acquisition function, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading the development and implementation of innovative and successful talent acquisition strategies in an ever evolving environment.
- Experienced in managing a diverse talent acquisition function across multiple geographic locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition trends for both B2B and B2C skill set attraction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to articulate ideas, enhance collaboration and drive engagement.
- Ability to challenge the status quo whilst building and maintaining relationships at all levels with internal stakeholders, external service providers, education institutions and professional bodies.
- Experience overseeing ATS optimisation along with utilisation of other tools to ensure effective delivery and monitoring of the talent acquisition function and its activities.
- Set, monitored and ensured the delivery of required minimum performance standards for a diverse, multi-functional talent acquisition team.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential, other languages an advantage.
- Ability to travel when required.
