ICT Managing Consultant / Associate Director

 Job Description:

ArcBlue is searching for an exceptional Associate Director to join our growing team of ICT Procurement Professionals. The successful candidate will deliver procurement advisory projects to ArcBlue clients across Australia with the potential to support projects across Asia Pacific. Ideally you will be located on the East Coast of Australia but working remotely across all regions.

With procurement expertise and strong experience the Associate Director is required to autonomously manage client relationships and project delivery for clients in areas including (but not limited to) assessment and development of their procurement strategy and capability, procurement strategy implementation, negotiation and other skills development programmes. This may involve leadership and management of project team members and operating without guidance from senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

You will work with a wider team to achieve excellence in client value and will be responsible for project delivery utilisation and output

    ICT
    Lead large-scale technology-related sourcing events across the Private and Public sector.
    Manage complex environments and critical time factors associated with procurement projects.
    Uplift procurement function capabilities and contribute to broader technology and procurement transformation programs.
    Collaborate with clients to drive efficiency and add value to their organizations.

    Client Relationships
    Strong communication and presentation skills
    Create, participate, engage and facilitate effective presentations
    Develop and maintain key client relationships (private and public sector, and Bain)
    Manage client relationships
    Lead and manage client discussions regarding projects and deliverables
    Understand client needs and proposing service strategies
    Influences client decision
    Identifies and solves potential client relationship issues
    Manage expectations on client service
    Manage evaluation of success of client service after implementation and offer on-going support

    Team Relationships

    Manage junior team members on project scope, requirements, content and delivery
    Mentor/coach junior team members
    Work collaboratively in a team environment
    Support peers across ArcBlue
