Commercial Advisor

AIR6500 is seeking the services of a Commercial Advisor with significant experience in coordinating industry stakeholders and supporting a complex source selection process.  The candidate will work in the Project’s Commercial team as part of the broader Integrated Project Team.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Act as the commercial representative at industry meetings and other engagements.
• Coordinating suppliers prior to and during the project’s procurement processes including: establishing and recording industry engagement, managing clarification questions, and managing associated registers; 
• Facilitating communication between suppliers and the Project Teams including coordinating engagement with industry to maintain a fair and equitable information flow
• Undertaking smaller ad-hoc procurements 
• Supporting development, negotiation and execution of Procurement documentation
• Conducting the commercial evaluation of suppliers
• Preparing documentation for Government decision making
• Other Commercial tasks as needed.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience with Defence and Government procurement processes 
• Experience with the development of ASDEFCON artefacts of similar
• NV1 security clearance

This position requires a minimum of an NV1 Security Clearance and must be located in Canberra
