About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Manager to lead and drive Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and broader HR initiatives for our client's regional operations. This role will work closely with the regional HR Head based in USA to develop and implement C&B performance initiatives, organizational change strategies, and employee relations policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong HR generalist background, with deep expertise in C&B and rewards, experience in a manufacturing environment, and business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1/N2 or equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation & Benefits (C&B):
    • Lead the development and execution of C&B strategies in alignment with global policies.
    • Conduct benchmarking, salary structuring, and benefits analysis to enhance employee value propositions.
    • Collaborate with the global team on performance-based reward systems and incentive programs.
  • HR Strategy & Organizational Development:
    • Drive organization change initiatives, including workforce planning and restructuring.
    • Partner with leadership to align HR policies and talent strategies with business goals.
    • Implement HR analytics and metrics to support decision-making and improve HR effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain employee relations policies in compliance with local labor laws.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, handling grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
    • Ensure HR policies and procedures align with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • HR Operations & Business Partnering:
    • Lead HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
    • Work closely with regional and global HR teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
    • Support leadership in talent development, retention strategies, and succession planning.

Key Requirements:

  • 15+ years of HR generalist experience, with a strong focus on Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and rewards.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of local labor laws, employee relations, and HR compliance.
  • Proven experience in driving performance-based C&B initiatives and supporting organizational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with global HR teams.
  • Fluent or business-level Japanese (JLPT N1/N2 equivalent) and English proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related
