About the Role:
As the Retail Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the full retail strategy and operations, ensuring exceptional customer experience, optimizing sales performance, and strengthening client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to achieve commercial objectives while maintaining the brand's prestigious image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive retail performance, including sales productivity, stock management, client engagement, customer service, and staff training.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for short-, mid-, and long-term growth.
- Provide market insights, analyze business trends, and propose innovative strategies.
- Collaborate with the Brand team to optimize brand positioning, assortment, and retail presence.
- Ensure an outstanding brand image across all retail points of sale, including store location and design.
- Spearhead sales strategies to maximize sell-in, sell-out, and overall revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and key stakeholders in retail real estate.
- Oversee the CRM strategy to elevate the client experience and cultivate a high-value clientele.
- Define recruitment and retention strategies for VVIP clients and enhance customer loyalty.
- Lead market research initiatives to understand trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in existing and new markets.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to the retail team.
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury retail or related industries.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing high-performance retail teams.
- Deep understanding of the Southeast Asian luxury retail market and consumer behavior.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional strategic planning and execution skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a strong focus on achieving results and operational excellence.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver an exceptional retail experience.
