Your Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the heart of driving the company's growth, focusing on winning new business and expanding market presence. This is a field sales position designed for someone who enjoys the thrill of finding new clients, closing deals, and building long-term partnerships from the ground up. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Exploring New Business Opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new opportunities for Contract Logistics solutions across various sectors, with a strong focus in B2C sector while we are also open to B2B accounts.
- Sales Lead Generation & Pipeline Building: Drive the sales process by generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline, from cold calling to closing deals.
- Tailored Solutions & Proposals: Collaborate closely with the Operations team to develop tailored business solutions, preparing compelling proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
- RFI, RFP, RFQ Management: Take ownership of all proposal responses, ensuring timely and effective submissions that demonstrate the company's capabilities and competitive edge.
- Client Onboarding & Implementation: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation for new clients, from initial project planning and warehouse setup to solution design and contract negotiation.
- Building Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and driving continual business growth.
What We Are Looking For

- 10 years in business development, specifically within the 3PL industry, including Contract Logistics and freight forwarding, or transportation solutions.
- A strong hunter mentality, with demonstrated success in generating sales leads, closing deals, and building a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored logistics solutions that add value, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Skills in presenting solutions, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts with key stakeholders.
- Driven, independent, and goal-oriented with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to the teams success.
