With a strong presence in major critical markets and the intention to strengthen their reputation, they are actively hiring for a Head of Supply Chain & Operations to oversee the operations locally and in Malaysia, and drive the business to meet business objectives. 

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful candidate will be in charge of improving the end-to-end supply chain processes and work closely with relevant stakeholders and teams to elevate the company's capabilities across supply chain, logistics, warehousing and operations in Singapore and Malaysia. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive the department's whole supply chain process and strategy and ensure it is aligned to meet business objectives
  • Identify inefficiencies across departments and work closely with leadership team to streamline operations 
  • Establish SOPs and compliance to company standards to drive efficiency in supply chain operations (planning, logistics, warehousing, etc)
  • Lead searches, negotiations and qualifications of vendors associated within supply chain
  • Lead the identification of continuous improvement processes and opportunities and ensure timely implementation
  • Foster a high-performing and inclusive team environment 
  • Manage relations with client companies to identify opportunities for expansion or
    improvement in products/services offered 

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this position, the candidate will have:

  • Tertiary Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business Management or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in F&B/FMCG industries, with 3 years in a leadership position
  • In-depth knowledge and proven track record on E2E supply chain management, including logistics, warehousing, procurement, supplier management
  • A people-centric leadership approach with a strong business acumen 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds
