System Analyst/Project Manager (Permanent)

A renowned firm in the insurance industry is actively hiring for a Senior System Analyst with experience in project management to join its APAC team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced analyst who is keen to get more exposure in regional/global projects while handling a key role in supporting in-house applications. 

Job Description

Reporting to the Regional CIO, the candidate will be responsible for: 

In-house Technical Support:

• Providing technical expertise on level 1 and level 2 in-house applications to regional end-users 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to group applications
• Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features and work closely  with global developers to upgrade/troubleshoot applications
• Ensure proper documentation on technical issues raised by users to allow technical teams to further investigate

Project Management (APAC): 

• Engage APAC stakeholders to understand business needs across various departments and drive projects, including but not limited to automation, digitalization, RPA, etc
• Ensure timely completion of project within timeframe and budget 
• Perform risk assessments for projects
• Utilize project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
• Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Maintain documentations for internal/external users

The Successful Applicant

To be successful, you will have:

• Diploma or degree holder in IT, computer science or relevant fields
• At least 5 years of experience in both L1/L2 application support and project management, with strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Customer-oriented approach to deliver high-quality support with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams 
• Proven track record of working in a diverse cultural environment and across various countries as regional experience will be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of latest technologies 
• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
