Overview:

Were looking for a Backend SSR Developer to join a growing Argentine fintech startup that helps people buy now and pay later. You´ll be part of an agile team building modern and scalable backend systems using Kotlin. If you come from a Java background, that's perfect we'll support you as you learn Kotlin!

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Kotlin (learning support provided if you're coming from Java).

• Work with PostgreSQL and learn to use Redis.
• Be part of a microservices architecture using Spring + WebFlux (reactive programming).
• Collaborate with the team using GitHub, Docker, and Jira.
• Contribute to workflows using Camunda and observability tools like New Relic.

What Were Looking For:

• 3+ years working with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Spring and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Interest in learning Kotlin and modern backend practices.
• Intermediate English day-to-day work is in Spanish.
• Bonus: Experience with Redis, Camunda, WebFlux, New Relic, or in the fintech industry.

• Working hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Argentina time)
