Overview:

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join a mature team transitioning to agile methodologies. You will play a key role in a Digital Innovation project aimed at optimizing internal processes and boosting product development efficiency for the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable QA automation framework using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

  • Develop and execute automated UI (end-to-end) and API tests.

  • Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

  • Analyze test results, report bugs in Jira, and collaborate closely with developers.

  • Participate in defining quality strategy and contribute to agile ceremonies.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer.

  • Proven experience building test automation frameworks from scratch with Playwright.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

  • Hands-on experience in API automation testing (RESTful).

  • Solid understanding of design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).

  • Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with Git and Jira.

  • Knowledge of performance or security testing.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.

Interview Process:

  • HR Interview (Arcadia): Conducted partly in Spanish and partly in English.

  • Technical Interview (Client): Fully in English, with the client based in the USA.
