Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join their Defense and Intelligence Team, working within the Intelligence Community. This role offers the chance to apply cutting-edge research, develop advanced models, and solve complex challenges in a dynamic and evolving data environment.
Position Overview
As part of this team, you will develop and implement innovative analytic solutions, integrate diverse datasets, and enhance tradecraft techniques. Leveraging tools like Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other state-of-the-art software, you will contribute to impactful projects that address real-world intelligence questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and train advanced models for object detection and data integration.
- Consolidate data from diverse sources into coherent and functional databases.
- Fine-tune models to meet intelligence-specific objectives.
- Document findings and methodologies clearly for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Government, industry, and academic stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes.
- Apply creative problem-solving and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph.
- Bachelors degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.) and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Data Science, Python, and/or R.
- Experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Object Detection.
Desired:
- Familiarity with PyTorch, Keras, and overhead imagery.
- Masters degree in a technical field with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Package Details
Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000
