At Aralects, we are building a language learning app focused on bridging the gap between Modern Standard Arabic and the diverse Arabic dialects. Although we're still in the early stages and are currently working towards our minimum viable product, we're using this time to kickstart our community-building efforts. Our goal is to foster a community of Arabic language enthusiasts and learners, bringing awareness to the intricacies of Arabic dialects and setting the stage for the apps future launch.

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern to help us analyze and optimize the performance of our landing page. Your work will directly contribute to improving user engagement, conversion rates, and overall effectiveness of our marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze landing page traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates using PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rate, session duration, click-through rate (CTR), and sign-up conversions.
• Conduct A/B tests to optimize landing page design and content.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement data-driven changes.
• Generate regular reports on landing page performance and suggest strategies for growth.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone with:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a university degree.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present data-driven recommendations.
• Interest in language learning, or Arabic dialects is a plus!
