Regulatory Affairs Manager

Our client is the leading food and beverage manufacturing company with global presence.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure regulatory compliance of companys products, ingredients, labelling, packaging and product claims which is crucial in maintaining the Companys reputation with customers and regulatory agencies in ASEAN and North American markets outside Hong Kong and Mainland China.
• Act as a bridge between the legal bodies and the companies in all matters related to regulatory affairs.
• Work closely with all relevant internal departments to ensure product supply continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Keep abreast of the regulatory requirements and future trends in all relevant markets and provide insights to the Company on the regulation changes, impacts and suggested actions to be taken.
• Proactively identify potential regulatory problems and takes actions to correct and minimize the impact of such problems.
• Provide science and nutritional knowledge to support new product development, consumer education and scientific communication.

Requirements:

• University graduate, degree in Science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years in regulatory affairs field in food/beverage industry in ASEAN markets, with at least 2 years experience at managerial level.
• Established network with regulators and scientist in ASEAN markets is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and functions across Markets.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, highly organized with multi-tasking skills.
• Willing to travel & work outside Hong Kong.
