About the job Airport Analyst
The Airport Analyst is responsible for transforming operational, connection, and service-quality data across Arajet's airport network into semantic models, structured datasets, and decision-ready reporting. This role builds, request and maintains automations, RPA processes, and dashboards that give Airports leadership real-time, self-service visibility into performance, replacing manual data consolidation with reliable, repeatable analysis. By turning data into clear insights and presentations, the Airport Analyst supports faster and better-informed decision-making across the network, while freeing senior leadership time currently spent compiling and interpreting operational data.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Semantic Models:
Lead the migration of airport operational data (OTP, connections, baggage handling, ground handling, incidents) from static reports to semantic models and structured datasets, establishing a single source of truth for the Airports area.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze KPIs across the airport network, including OTP, connection recovery, NPS, incident volume, and SLA compliance, to ensure operational and service quality targets are met.
Reporting & Dashboard Management:
Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and recurring reports that provide real-time visibility of airport performance to Airports leadership and the Chief Committee.
Automation & RPA:
Design, request, test, and follow up on RPA developments and automation workflows that eliminate manual data consolidation, reduce errors, and free senior leadership time for decision-making rather than data compilation.
Data Analysis & Decision Support:
Analyze large datasets to identify root causes, trends, and operational risks, translating findings into presentations and insights that support the Chief Committee and the CEO in making better-informed decisions.
Systems & Data Governance:
Ensure the integrity, consistency, and proper configuration of the data sources feeding Airport systems, and ensure data handling complies with internal policies and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with Technology, Ground Handling providers, CX, Operations, and Commercial teams to validate findings, resolve systemic issues, and align airport data initiatives across the network.
Process & Service Improvement:
Identify inefficiencies across airport processes and connections; recommend and support the implementation of data-driven optimizations that improve OTP, NPS, and operational costs
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or operations analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and semantic data modeling (or equivalent BI / data-modeling tools).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience structuring datasets for self-service analysis.
- Experience with, or strong aptitude for RPA and automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, executive-ready presentations and insights.
