About the job Production Control Intern
The Production Control Intern supports the Production Control team in coordinating production schedules, monitoring operational performance, maintaining production records, and ensuring the timely flow of materials and information across the manufacturing process. This role provides valuable exposure to production planning, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Monitor production progress and update reports to ensure alignment with production plans.
- Support inventory tracking and material availability verification.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain production data and performance metrics.
- Assist in generating production, capacity, and inventory reports.
- Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Warehouse teams to support operational objectives.
- Help identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation initiatives.
- Ensure production records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, or manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ERP or production management systems is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
