The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for conducting comprehensive internal and external quality assurance audits under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Quality Assurance Auditor. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the organization's operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit Execution
  • Conduct internal and external quality assurance audits in accordance with established audit plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Quality Assurance Auditor to prioritize audit focus areas based on risk assessments and organizational priorities.
  • Utilize audit planning tools and software to efficiently execute audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards throughout the audit process.
Audit Reporting
  • Analyze audit results to identify root causes, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit reports, providing clear and concise documentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Present audit findings and reports to management and relevant departments with accuracy and objectivity.
  • Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of identified deficiencies.

Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of audit procedures, findings, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of audit reports and supporting documentation.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of a centralized repository for efficient access to audit documentation.
  • Adhere to standardized audit reporting formats to ensure consistency and comparability across audits.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance documentation and record-keeping practices.
Tracking and Monitoring
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of robust systems for audit planning and execution tracking.
  • Utilize software tools for real-time monitoring of audit activities and milestones.
  • Generate alerts and notifications for upcoming audits and overdue corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Quality Assurance Auditor to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of audit tracking systems.
  • Contribute to the review of audit performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in post-audit debriefing sessions to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support trend analysis of audit findings to identify systemic issues and process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements based on audit insights.
  • Participate in training programs to stay current with quality assurance best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to benchmarking activities against industry standards to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety Management System (SMS)

  • Ensure compliance within their area of responsibility and across Arajet with applicable policies and regulations, protecting the company from high-risk audit findings, regulatory non-compliance, and financial exposure.
  • Comply with the policies, objectives, and requirements of the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Actively participate in the Operational Safety Reporting System.
  • Report hazards, accidents, incidents, unsafe acts, violations, deviations, and unsafe conditions to the Safety and Risk Management Department.
  • Support the development and implementation of action plans to close non-conformities identified through internal audits.
  • Receive, review, and act in accordance with information and directives provided by the Safety and Risk Management Department.
  • Attend and successfully complete required Safety Management System training.
  • Complete and respond to safety surveys issued by the Safety and Risk Management Department.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, auditing, compliance, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience conducting internal and/or external audits, preferably within regulated industries such as aviation, healthcare, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, IDAC regulations, and aviation regulations).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in audit planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to clearly and objectively communicate findings, recommendations, and observations.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with audit management software and audit tracking/reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and operational safety principles is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to quality standards, regulatory compliance, and organizational objectives.
