Key Account Manager Caribbean

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking an independent Key Account Manager to join our team full-time to cover the Dominican Republic and Caribbean islands. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, consolidators, and tour operators to promote ticket sales and services.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions to familiarize clients with airline offerings and booking tools.
• Negotiate contracts, agreements, and incentive programs with travel partners to maximize mutual benefits
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and provide market insights internally.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales Support, revenue management and marketing, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
• Represent the airline at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.
• Stay updated on airline products, policies, and industry developments to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Experience in developing sales strategies and meeting sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in CRM software
• Fluency in Spanish and English (C1-C2)
• Experience in sales in the tourism or airline industry required
• Must have own vehicle
• Basic knowledge of aviation or experience working in a travel agency
