About the job AVSEC Assistant
The AVSEC Assistant provides administrative support to the Aviation Security Department by coordinating, processing, and tracking airport identification passes required for employee access to restricted areas at Santo Domingo and Punta Cana International Airports. This role is key to ensuring regulatory compliance, operational continuity, and timely access for Arajet personnel, acting as the main point of contact between internal departments and airport authority credentialing offices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Airport ID & Access Management:
· Coordinate the application, renewal, modification, and cancellation of airport identification passes for Arajet
employees and authorized personnel.
· Ensure all access requests comply with airport authority requirements and AVSEC procedures.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of active, expired, and pending airport IDs for both SDQ and PUJ.
· Monitor expiration dates and proactively coordinate renewals to avoid operational disruptions.
Coordination & Communication
· Act as liaison between Arajet departments, AVSEC leadership, and airport credentialing offices.
· Provide clear guidance to employees on required documentation, processes, and timelines.
· Follow up with airport authorities to ensure timely processing of access requests.
Administrative & Compliance Support
· Organize and archive documentation related to airport access credentials in accordance with security and audit
requirements.
· Support internal audits, inspections, or reviews related to airport personnel identification.
· Assist the AVSEC team with administrative tasks related to compliance, reporting, and data tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education
Current student or recent graduate in Administration, Aviation Management, Business, International Relations, or a related field.
Experience
· No prior aviation security experience required.
· Previous administrative or coordination experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and follow established processes.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
