About the job Duty Manager

  • Responsible for ensuring the on-time performance of the daily flight schedule, identifying and mitigating problems before they become large disturbances. In the event of a disturbance, will be responsible for developing the most efficient recovery plan. Additionally, coordinate resources with all operating departments including Crew Services, Maintenance Control, Flight Dispatch, Stations Operations, Corporate Security, and ensure all operating plans and disruptions are communicated internally and externally.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Dispatch Course is desirable but not mandatory.

Proven experience with AIMS software applications (Preferable).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

English proficiency at an intermediate level (ICAO Level 3–4 preferred).

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the aviation industry is preferred, ideally within airline operations, operational control (IOCC/OCC), dispatch, network operations, or airport/ground operations environments.

Management or supervisory experience leading technical airline teams is an advantage.

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and with regulatory/operational authorities.

Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions under time pressure and uncertainty.

Proactive ability to identify risks, opportunities, challenges, and solutions.

Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in facilitation, coaching, or mentoring roles.

Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership traits and ability to influence within a collaborative environment.

Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business contexts.

Capacity to make decisions in high-risk, high-pressure operational environments.

Strong teamwork orientation, adaptability, and mental agility to solve complex problems alongside multidisciplinary teams.
