About the job Senior Planner

The Senior Planner is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing long-term maintenance plans to ensure fleet reliability, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and resource optimization. This role coordinates maintenance requirements across multiple stakeholders, monitors maintenance programs, and supports strategic decision-making through data analysis and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term maintenance plans for the fleet.
  • Monitor maintenance programs, including scheduled tasks, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), campaigns, deferred items, and engineering requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are planned and executed within approved compliance intervals.
  • Track aircraft, engine, and APU utilization to forecast maintenance requirements and component removals.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Materials, and Line Maintenance teams to ensure resource availability and execution readiness.
  • Analyze maintenance capacity, operational constraints, manpower requirements, facility availability, and material needs.
  • Support maintenance check planning, fleet downtime optimization, and aircraft availability targets.
  • Generate and maintain maintenance planning reports, KPIs, forecasts, and performance indicators.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation plans to avoid operational disruptions and maintenance overdue items.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization, automation, and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, manufacturer requirements, and aviation regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning, production planning, maintenance control, or related aviation functions.
  • Experience with Airbus and/or Boeing fleet maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and maintenance planning requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance management systems such as AMOS, MXI, TRAX, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification or postgraduate studies.
  • Experience in fleet planning or long-range maintenance planning.
  • Knowledge of reliability programs and maintenance performance analysis.
  • Experience leading cross-functional planning initiatives.
