The Mapping Unit is seeking an Elastic Stack Specialist with a passion for data analysis, geography, and the defense world. This is an opportunity to be part of an advanced technological team at the heart of critical security activities.


Job Description:


Work with the full Elastic Stack: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Fleet, Kibana
Develop advanced indexing and analysis processes using Elastic StackCreate Kibana dashboards for real-time data monitoring and trackingDesign data architecture tailored to the unit's needsOptimize performance, enhance efficiency, and maintain Elastic Stack systemsCollaborate with DBA and development teams on planning and implementation processes


Required Skills and Knowledge:

In-depth experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Fleet)
Advanced understanding of search queries and index optimization
Experience with databases (DBA background is a significant advantage)
Experience working with geographic data (GIS) and Oracle Spatial - an advantage

Additional Advantages:

Knowledge of PostgreSQL
Experience with ESRI Tools (Environmental Systems Research Institute)
Familiarity with complex data pipelines
