Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to drive the design, development, and scaling of next-generation AI-powered solutions, including semantic search, product data enrichment, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform complex business challenges into data-driven solutions and production-grade AI products that deliver global impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of semantic search, product data enrichment, and AI-driven recommendation solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, LLMs, and Agentic AI, guiding architecture and technical decisions.
• Translate complex business challenges into analytically driven solutions by defining problem statements, success criteria, and modeling approaches.
• Design, develop, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models using advanced machine learning techniques.
• Build and scale AI solutions leveraging LLMs, Agentic AI frameworks, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Prototype, validate, and productionize innovative AI solutions for enterprise-scale deployment.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Develop mathematical and statistical models that improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend their adoption based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Ensure model performance, scalability, monitoring, and continuous improvement in production environments.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across AI and data science initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML models on Azure or GCP.
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Statistical Modeling, Optimization, and Predictive Analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data science and machine learning development.
• Experience with Spark, SQL, and large-scale data processing.
• Strong knowledge of the PyData ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and related libraries.
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph for LLM-based application development.
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets and perform advanced analytical investigations.
• Strong understanding of mathematical modeling, experimentation, and optimization techniques.
