Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and lead an automation-first QA practice. The role centers on Robot Framework with Python as the primary automation stack, supported by Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing. You will help transition a largely manual QA setup into a scalable, well-documented automation framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework (primary) with Python
• Develop UI and cross-browser automation using Playwright and Selenium
• Define and implement QA automation processes, transforming manual testing into a structured, automation-first practice
• Document test cases, execution results, and QA processes using QMetry
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for real-time dashboards and data sources
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and higher-quality releases
• Manage test cases, reporting, and defect tracking using Jira, QMetry, or similar tools
• Mentor and guide team members in adopting modern automation tools and best practices
• Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and QA processes to build a sustainable knowledge base
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing
• Proven ability to design and implement QA automation frameworks and processes
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (QMetry, Jira, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and test strategies
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills
