Roles and Responsibility:

As a Data Analyst, you will work together in a team of Data Analysts to support the product teams within the unit. You will work closely with the Product Managers, Engineers, Business Experts, and Product Designers to create value from data while working towards the goal of improving our platforms and systems.

You will work with multiple complex data sources, prepare data, aggregate, and transform both structured & unstructured data. You will create analysis, build reporting tools and dashboards, and products around data, while securing the realization of business value from data.

Responsibilities:

• Main focus is the data analyst scope of the product / program / team where you are expected to contribute to the short- and long-term agenda.
• Understanding the added value of product / teams work. Following up OKRs through setting and following up KPIs.
• Data discovery, building data products, testing and evaluating model outputs, in collaboration closely with other roles in the product / team, i.e. DS, DE, Business Expert, etc.
• Solving complex problems by turning vast amounts of data into business insights through advanced analytics and effectively communicating findings to a variety of stakeholders.
• Framing the problem together with stakeholders, exploring large data sets, preparing data for own analysis.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to your work to ensure that stakeholders have the necessary information to understand the data & analysis input/outputs.
• Sharing knowledge in Communities of Practice, thereby enriching the collective understanding and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, preferably in a product team setting.
• Academic degree within Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar
• Experience working within ecommerce, preferably in a multi-channel retail setting. 
• Working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Good to have experience in Big Query & DBT solutions.
• Experience working with BI tools (i.e. PowerBI), good knowledge of best practices on both the back-end and the front-end.
• Experience working with Logistics is a plus.
• Work with large and complex data sets using SQL & Python skills
• Use numerical, statistical, and analytical methods to apply to data processing.
• Communicate and explain data and its implications to various stakeholders.
• Analyze substantial amounts of data into clear insights.
• Translate business requirements into analytical requirements.
• Align assignments with the strategic goals of the business .
• Advise business in the best solution from both a business and technical perspective.

Location: Bangalore
