Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Project Manager who will focus on physical IT infrastructure in our locations worldwide. This is a cross-project role where you will join a team of technical specialists and vendors in developing the physical IT infrastructure of the the company, including IT rooms and server racks, cooling systems, power distribution and backup power, cable management, and monitoring solutions.

Together with our engineering teams and business units, you will work closely to ensure the successful execution of different projects and activities related to physical IT infrastructure. Your ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in parallel and across different teams, departments, and external vendors will be crucial to your success in this role.

The role is located in our Stockholm office.

Responsibilities

  • You oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of physical IT infrastructure projects and activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to understand business needs, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • You utilize your knowledge of physical IT infrastructure and, more generally, IT infrastructure to guide project decisions and recommend solutions.
  • You develop and maintain documentation for physical IT infrastructure designs, guardrails, standards, processes, and best practices.
  • You collaborate with vendors for procurement and support of physical IT infrastructure components.
  • You participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and project retrospectives.
  • You coordinate keeping project artifacts up to date in tools like Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Confluence and JIRA.
  • You provide advice and support regarding physical IT infrastructure for the the company Group, with a special focus on construction projects.
  • You stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements.

Profile and qualifications

Who are you?

  • You are outgoing, approachable, and have a strong or very strong technical understanding of both physical IT infrastructure and IT infrastructure in general.
  • You can comprehend and communicate complex solutions effectively.
  • You work independently and manage projects and activities with support and guidance from your manager and different teams.
  • You are comfortable working closely with multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and take ownership of your work.
  • You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mind-set.
  • Your language skills: Swedish and English is a requirement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, specifically with physical IT infrastructure projects.
  • Experience of collaborating and coordinating across multiple IT infrastructure teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, and more specifically, physical IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
  • Curiosity and adaptability to grasp new concepts and technologies quickly.
  • Fearlessness in exploring alternative solutions and implementing backup plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Firsthand experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office tools.
