Chemical Engineer

Job description 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and developing new products, as well as continuously improving existing ones, ensuring compliance with the company's quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for automotive and industrial products, focusing on durability, ease of use, and high performance.
• Conduct research on new technologies and chemical processes that can enhance product quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that products meet technical and quality standards.
• Evaluate product properties and conduct tests to ensure their effectiveness and safety.
• Provide expertise in the design and implementation of chemical processes in large-scale production.
• Ensure that all products comply with applicable industry regulations and standards.
• Work with the sales and marketing team to provide technical product information and applications.
• Oversee continuous improvement initiatives for existing processes and products, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity.

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive or industrial chemicals industry.
• Knowledge of formulation principles for paints, coatings, and industrial chemicals.
• Ability to conduct research and apply innovative solutions in product development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate in a multidisciplinary work environment.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
