About the job AVP, Integrated Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead critical initiatives focused on regulatory compliance to strengthen the Bank's risk governance framework, including policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve oversight of the Bank's comprehensive risk landscape, managing the Risk Appetite Framework and addressing Top and Emerging Risks.
  • Deliver impactful project outcomes, effectively communicating recommendations to senior management and providing updates to external stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Risk team to identify and devise solutions for significant risks, including Top and Emerging Risks.
  • Prepare and present materials for senior management and committees, acting as the secretariat and ensuring smooth communication.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, law, or a related field; ECF certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise risk management, risk governance, consultancy, or regulatory roles within the banking sector in Hong Kong.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong banking regulations related to risk management and familiarity with HKMA SPMs.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrating a proactive approach, accountability, and a solid work ethic.
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a cohesive team, while meeting tight deadlines.
