Senior Vice President, Loan Origination

Our client, a well-established bank, is looking to hire an SVP for the Loan Origination team in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

• Originate and structure syndicated loan facilities for large corporate clients and institutional borrowers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including credit, legal, and sales, to execute complex financing transactions
• Engage in extensive relationship management with existing and prospective clients to understand their evolving financial needs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the bank's syndicated lending strategy and growth initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in syndicated loan origination and structuring within the banking industry
• Strong understanding of the syndicated loan market, regulatory environment, and industry best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present proposals and negotiate terms with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
• Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
