Construction Manager
Location: Fisher County, Texas
Contract Duration: 12 months
Overview of the Role:
The construction manager is responsible for the projects success from a field level.
CMs spend more time at their computer then in the field they are the quarterback
of the project in the field for NextEra. They are the bridge between the field and the
Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Know your contract documents and contractor SAFETY PLAN.
- You should read and know the permits, road use agreements, crossing agreements, SWPPP, haul routes, drawings, material, schedule, QA/QC, Submittals to engineering for review.
- Set expectations, lead, and train on Site Safety Orientation, Site Specific Safety Plan, Fill out Safety Assessments / CILs (unifier), Reporting and Documentation.
- Monitor the environmental constraints before/during work activities .
- Manage the NextEra team to help gather all the information need to report accurately. Reports must be 100% accurate as this information is shared up the management chain all the way to the executive VP.
- Utilize land agents for planning, difficult landowners, information about landowners and land agreements.
