OVERVIEW
A national firm is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate (1 - 5 years) to join its Delaware office. The role offers hands-on experience across both bankruptcy matters and commercial litigation, working closely with partners on a range of restructuring, finance-related disputes, and complex litigation assignments. This is an excellent opportunity for junior and mid-level associates who want meaningful responsibility and diverse exposure within a collaborative, high-performing practice.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support bankruptcy matters, including filings, motions, and case strategy
- Contribute to commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
- Draft briefs, pleadings, research memos, and related litigation documents
- Assist with discovery, document review, and deposition preparation
- Engage with clients and internal teams to manage workflows
- Conduct legal research and support partners on restructuring and finance matters
- Coordinate across practice groups as needed for complex matters
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 1 - 5 years of litigation and/or bankruptcy experience
- Admission to the Delaware bar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic background and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and staff
