About the Client
A national Am Lawlevel firm with a major U.S. footprint is seeking an Associate with 2 - 5 years of experience in public finance, project finance, or related finance transactions. The team handles complex financings for both public- and private-sector projects, including renewable energy, housing, healthcare, water/sewer systems, education facilities, and broader infrastructure development. This role offers early responsibility, direct client interaction, and an environment that values collaboration and business development involvement.
Core Responsibilities

Support a high-volume practice focused on public finance and project finance transactions.

Draft, review, and negotiate various financing documents.

Interface with borrowers/developers, investment banks, lenders, issuers, and investors.

Assist in closings and manage deal execution workflows.

Engage with clients and internal teams regularly to coordinate project milestones.

Participate in business development opportunities, including industry events and conferences.
Experience Requirements

2 - 5 years in public finance, project finance, tax equity, or other complex finance transactional work.

Experience closing transactions is highly preferred and a strong differentiator.

Familiarity with public finance documentation or tax equity structures is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, organizational capability, and drafting skills.

Active bar license in the jurisdiction (Colorado) or eligibility to waive in.
