OVERVIEW
A national law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney to join a growing agribusiness-focused transactional practice. This role supports cross-border business transactions between the United States and Mexico and requires full professional fluency in English and Spanish. The position is open to candidates with 4+ years of business transactional experience, with more senior attorneys encouraged to apply. Prior agribusiness experience is not required.
The role is remote/hybrid, with no requirement to reside near Nogales, Arizona, though occasional travel to Nogales is expected.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients on a range of business and commercial transactions, including cross-border matters.
- Support U.S.–Mexico transactional work for agribusiness and related industries.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.
- Provide practical, client-focused legal guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to support client needs.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to practice growth
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience in business or commercial transactions.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent professional credentials and client service orientation.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Arizona bar admission or ability to obtain admission within one year of hire.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Nogales, AZ.
