๐ŸŒŸ Overview of the Role

Join a Fortune 200 energy leader as a Senior Nuclear Planner Scheduler, developing comprehensive work packages that keep critical nuclear infrastructure operating safely and efficiently. You'll be creating Design Change Work Packages, Preventive Maintenance Work Packages, and Corrective Work Packages across Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines. ๐Ÿ’ผ Key Responsibilities

  • Work Package Development: Create comprehensive work packages for all types of work including Design Change, Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Work Packages
  • Work Order Analysis: Identify and analyze work order tasks required to implement large capital projects, preventive maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities
  • Standards Development: Develop and maintain work standards to support work packages across the facility
  • Multi-Discipline Planning: Plan work scope across Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical disciplines
  • Technical Documentation: Generate weld data sheets in accordance with ASME code and NextEra procedural requirements
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior system planners and contractors on developing detailed elements of overall packages
  • Parts Coordination: Work with station personnel to identify, create, and order parts for repair/replacement activities
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work packages meet nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements

โœ… Required Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 7 years of nuclear power plant experience
  • Proficiency with NAMS software
  • Experience developing work packages for nuclear facilities
  • Knowledge of ASME code requirements for weld data sheets
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Trade School Graduate
  • 10+ years of total experience
  • 10+ years of nuclear experience
  • BWR (Boiling Water Reactor) experience
  • Experience with Design Change Work Packages
  • Multi-discipline planning experience (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical)
