OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Join a leading energy company as a NERC Compliance Specialist where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the reliability and sustainability of North America's electric grid while working with industry experts in a collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and modify internal NERC procedures for Operations and Planning

  • Maintain and update personnel changes to Compliance and Excellence Team's Roles and Responsibility matrix

  • Support migration of procedures to new Document Management platform

  • Create and modify Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets (RSAWs)

  • Conduct Sustainability Assessments evidence review and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts

  • Support Order 881 Ambient Adjusted Ratings implementation readiness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree

  • 3+ years' experience in NERC operations and planning or utility compliance

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience building and executing a NERC O&P compliance program

  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with compliance software tools and platforms
