Overview:
Are you an experienced Looker & Quicksight Admin with a passion for data and analytics? Join our client's dynamic team to manage and optimize their BI platforms, ensuring seamless data connectivity and robust analytics capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Looker and Amazon Quicksight platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics.
  • Design and deliver complex platform architectures.
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Configure security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate.
  • Define and implement SDLC and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
  • Integrate Looker with Git repositories for code commits.
  • Administer Power BI Service architecture, including Azure and Power BI Premium.
  • Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, and reports using Power BI.
  • Ensure successful connectivity of BI tools with external components like Network, Firewall, Proxy, etc.
  • Integrate Power BI with tools like Splunk, Collibra, and ServiceNow.
  • Provide leadership and vision for best practices with BI tools.
  • Mentor team members and support self-service BI initiatives.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in managing BI platforms including Power BI, Looker, and Amazon Quicksight.
  • Extensive experience with Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate.
  • Experience with SDLC and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in integrating Looker with Git repositories.
  • Expertise in Power BI Service architecture and administration.
  • Data modeling experience with the Kimball method.
  • Familiarity with various database tools such as Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
