Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Quality Engineering Specialist to join our client's team. This role involves participating in the design and implementation of automation frameworks and test cases for mission-critical Payments products. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and testing Java-based applications, integrating components, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technical design and development of applications using Java and Selenium/API technologies.
  • Develop and test functions and application components, ensuring integration with frameworks and backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects and automation leads to implement automation strategies.
  • Drive Agile adoption and efficiency in quality practices, reducing testing cycle times.
  • Develop documentation artifacts and support various testing phases (Unit, Functional, Performance).

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development, with strong knowledge of J2EE components and services.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JDBC, HTML, and Spring framework.
  • Experience with test automation tools like Jenkins, Selenium Grid, and familiarity with BDD/TDD.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and database fundamentals (Oracle).
  • Ability to innovate and evolve quality engineering techniques in product development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in financial services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
