Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Quality Engineering Specialist to join our client's team. This role involves participating in the design and implementation of automation frameworks and test cases for mission-critical Payments products. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and testing Java-based applications, integrating components, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in technical design and development of applications using Java and Selenium/API technologies.
- Develop and test functions and application components, ensuring integration with frameworks and backend systems.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and automation leads to implement automation strategies.
- Drive Agile adoption and efficiency in quality practices, reducing testing cycle times.
- Develop documentation artifacts and support various testing phases (Unit, Functional, Performance).
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development, with strong knowledge of J2EE components and services.
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JDBC, HTML, and Spring framework.
- Experience with test automation tools like Jenkins, Selenium Grid, and familiarity with BDD/TDD.
- Strong understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and database fundamentals (Oracle).
- Ability to innovate and evolve quality engineering techniques in product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
- A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in financial services is a plus.
