OVERVIEW

Join the forefront of renewable energy as a Civil/Mechanical Superintendent overseeing critical solar plant construction projects across the mainland U.S. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the owner's representative, ensuring all civil and structural aspects of solar installations meet rigorous safety, quality, and performance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the owner's representative overseeing civil and structural aspects of solar plant construction

  • Review and monitor implementation of safety documents, policies, and SWPPP requirements

  • Conduct daily field walks and observations with construction crews

  • Perform comprehensive QA/QC inspections on construction activities

  • Attend and contribute to safety meetings, craft tailgates, and management discussions

  • Review and interpret civil/mechanical drawings, specifications, and contract documents

  • Monitor documentation uploads and complete required inspections in Unifier

  • Track and manage open action items and punchlist completion

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in civil and structural construction, preferably in industrial settings

  • Strong ability to comprehend construction drawings and prints

  • Excellent people management and communication skills with contractors and third parties

  • Proficient organizational skills with emphasis on scheduling, planning, and progress reporting

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management systems

  • Willingness to work on-site for the duration of projects
