Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Designer to join an on-site engineering team in Florida. This role focuses on the design and documentation of MEP systems for various types of commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to deliver coordinated and code-compliant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and draft MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) for buildings, including clubhouses, hotels, retail spaces, offices, and marinas.

• Develop construction documents and technical specifications.

• Provide support during construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.

• Coordinate closely with structural, civil, and architectural teams.

• Contribute to full project lifecycles under the guidance of senior staff and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

• EI certification preferred.

• 15 years of MEP design experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.

• Familiarity with MEP design tools and load calculation software.

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering quality solutions.
