Position Overview
Join our client's dynamic team as a Project Consultant specializing in Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship compliance. This critical role supports construction project management by ensuring adherence to labor compliance regulations, particularly recent IRA requirements for PWA. You'll be instrumental in maintaining regulatory compliance while supporting successful project delivery within budgetary, scheduling, and safety parameters.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship processes in accordance with IRA regulations
Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on assigned projects
Validate acceptance of completed work and review contractor payment requests
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and local community officials
Assist in scope control, budget oversight, technical issue resolution, and performance reporting
Interface with landowners, local regulators, and state agencies
Reinforce expectations related to safety, procedure compliance, and appropriate work behaviors
Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in wage and payroll systems
Support project management committees and construction activities
Qualifications
Proven experience with labor compliance rules, specifically IRA regulations for PWA
Proficiency with data entry systems for wage and payroll (LCP Tracker or similar platforms preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction project management principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities
Experience with regulatory compliance in construction or energy sectors
