Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Transmission Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in developing and managing high-voltage transmission projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge transmission projects and influence critical infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers to define and shape project requirements
• Manage Engineering of Record (EOR) relationships
• Support narrative and commercial strategy development
• Analyze ISO requirements and emerging industry trends
• Participate in competitive transmission project proposals
• Oversee HV/EHV transmission line design activities
• Contribute to wildfire mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of transmission line design experience (115kV and above)
• Professional Engineering certification strongly preferred
• Experience with FERC Order 1000 competitive proposals
• Strong understanding of ISO requirements
• Commercial and contract negotiation experience
• Proven project leadership abilities

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required
• 40 hours per week, standard business hours
• Some travel may be required
