Software Engineer - Frontend Development Specialist

Position Overview:
We're seeking a senior to advanced level software engineer with strong frontend development expertise to join an innovative technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge design system while collaborating with UX designers and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead frontend development initiatives and component creation for an in-house design system
  • Collaborate with UX and graphic designers to create 508-compliant web solutions
  • Develop and maintain reusable components using modern frameworks
  • Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Participate in full-stack development projects
  • Create and maintain unit tests and automation frameworks
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-10+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent experience
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience with Angular and component-based architecture
  • Strong knowledge of design tokens, responsive design, and SASS
  • Expertise with Content Management Systems (Sitecore, Wagtail)
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of AWS services and cloud security best practices
