Position Overview:
Join a dynamic Engineering & Construction Business Unit as a Principal Engineer specializing in switchyard design and implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects from conception through construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead switchyard projects from early-stage development through completion
  • Provide technical oversight and training for external engineers
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and transmission owners
  • Manage engineering consulting resources and material procurement
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Support commissioning activities and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 7+ years experience in HV substation/switchyard design and engineering
  • Strong project engineering/management background
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience with IEEE, NESC, and ASCE standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE license or PMP certification
  • Experience with renewable energy projects
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
