Overview
Join a groundbreaking renewable energy project as a Construction Superintendent specializing in either Civil or Electrical aspects of a state-of-the-art battery storage facility in Nebraska. These key leadership roles will oversee critical construction components including battery storage systems, substation development, and transmission line installation, ensuring quality, safety, and timeline adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight and budget/financial support for assigned project components
- Review contract documents, design criteria, drawings and specifications
- Monitor contractor performance and oversee assigned work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of project progress
- Troubleshoot and resolve field issues as they arise
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of construction superintendent experience in energy projects
- Specialized expertise in either Civil or Electrical construction aspects
- Knowledge of battery storage systems, substations, or transmission line construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and safety protocols
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Valid driver's license and willingness to be stationed at the construction site
