Overview of the Role
Join a leading renewable energy company as a Senior Metering Project Engineer where you'll manage critical metering systems for renewable energy projects. This pivotal role connects engineering excellence with project delivery, ensuring metering activities align with commercial agreements from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and organize customer, commercial, and internal metering requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for technical metering documentation
- Implement metering requirements into engineering design
- Oversee external Metering Engineers of Record
- Track and report on project contractual execution
- Provide engineering, design, and development support
- Prepare communications and presentations for stakeholders
- Develop improvement measures and establish customer requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 3+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience
- Experience with protection & control drawings
- Understanding of instrument transformers (CT, PTs, CVTs)
- Familiarity with Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters
- Knowledge of meter-to-meter schemes and loss compensation methods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
