Job Title: Tools Support Engineer

Expected Contract Length/Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)

Overview:
Are you a skilled Tools Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the financial services industry? Join our clients dynamic team and support engineering project teams on ALM tools-related topics. This role involves tool roll-out, configuration, and training, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ALM tools support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Create new users and projects, monitor usage, and generate reports.
  • Customize Quality Center and support engineering domains on ALM tool topics.
  • Deploy current and new tool suites to engineering projects.
  • Develop scripts and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Extract charts and dashboards, and support configuration management.
  • Pilot new tools, perform tests, and monitor multiple projects across time zones.
  • Administer application maintenance, project migration, and new patch implementation.
  • Customize and configure projects as per requirements, including workflows and alerts.
  • Develop SQL queries and macros, and communicate tool usage and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in ALM (nice to have but not required).
  • 2+ years in End User Software Support with a focus on troubleshooting and user communication.
  • Proficiency in Microfocus QC/ALM/Octane project creation and maintenance.
  • Experience with integration of Microfocus and 3rd Party tools.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
