Overview:
Are you a skilled Tools Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the financial services industry? Join our clients dynamic team and support engineering project teams on ALM tools-related topics. This role involves tool roll-out, configuration, and training, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ALM tools support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Create new users and projects, monitor usage, and generate reports.
- Customize Quality Center and support engineering domains on ALM tool topics.
- Deploy current and new tool suites to engineering projects.
- Develop scripts and automate repetitive tasks.
- Extract charts and dashboards, and support configuration management.
- Pilot new tools, perform tests, and monitor multiple projects across time zones.
- Administer application maintenance, project migration, and new patch implementation.
- Customize and configure projects as per requirements, including workflows and alerts.
- Develop SQL queries and macros, and communicate tool usage and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in ALM (nice to have but not required).
- 2+ years in End User Software Support with a focus on troubleshooting and user communication.
- Proficiency in Microfocus QC/ALM/Octane project creation and maintenance.
- Experience with integration of Microfocus and 3rd Party tools.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
