Transmission Line Subject Matter Expert (TLSME)

Overview of the Role:

As a TLSME, you'll be the technical backbone supporting transmission line design and construction across high-voltage systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert technical support to Project Engineering teams on 230kV+ transmission projects
• Lead development and implementation of transmission line standards
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers in technical requirements and best practices
• Respond to complex Requests for Information using engineering judgment and expertise
• Drive process improvement initiatives across multiple disciplines
• Collaborate with diverse TLSME team members to deliver optimal solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with deep transmission line expertise
• Minimum 8 years supporting high-voltage transmission projects (230kV+)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong problem-solving abilities with urgency mindset
• Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams
• Ability to make independent technical decisions
• Aggressive, self-motivated approach suitable for remote work
