Overview of the Role:
Join our client's Engineering & Construction team as a Senior Project Management Consultant and play a pivotal role in advancing Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the United States and Canada. This position offers the unique opportunity to coordinate complex, multi-million dollar renewable energy projects from early development through construction readiness, making a direct impact on the clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams across multiple BESS projects simultaneously
• Develop technical scope and optimize project variables for enhanced feasibility
• Support PPA and GIA negotiations with origination and development teams
• Manage engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements coordination
• Create and present financial models to executive leadership for budget approvals
• Source, negotiate, and execute commercial contracts for critical services
• Ensure seamless project handoff to Construction Project Managers with executable plans
• Present regular progress updates and risk mitigation strategies to management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting
• 5+ years of experience in engineering and construction, preferably renewable energy projects
• Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects preferred
• PMP Certification preferred
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites
